Traditional Mince Tarts (Box of 6)

Six of our delicious Mince Tarts presented in a Dorringtons' Box. All butter shortcrust pastry encases a sweet mincemeat packed with fruit and Christmas spices.

Attractive mince pies with clearly friable Pate Sucre. They cut well, without oozing, yet the plump, well sized fruit proved juicy even luscious. The gentle spicing was well melded, not in any way raw. We great admired the pastry, buttery, friable, melting on the palate, not too sweet. The assembly we felt was perfectly balanced, nicely indulgent, yet sophisticated in its appeal. Delightful.

The pastry is sweet and buttery and really melts in the mouth. The mincemeat has a good texture with plump fruit and mixed spice. The taste was delicious.
